We are a group of professional, independent wedding planners who strive to educate, advance, and promote the Austin wedding and events industry and it’s network of professionals.
AWPA provides opportunities for interaction and among professional colleagues. Members have the ability to gain professional support, networking opportunities and build community in an otherwise competitive market.
Through monthly planner luncheons, members benefit from relevant industry topics, and shared knowledge regarding the latest industry developments. Vendor mixers provide the opportunity to network and connect with vetted and professional vendors.
We believe that “a rising tide lifts all boats” and therefore strive to raise standards and practices for Austin’s vendors and planners. AWPA members are dedicated to the overall growth and standards of the events industry and want to connect with likeminded planners.
We welcome all levels of professional planners and backgrounds who want to achieve success in the industry, support colleagues along the way and create high standards for the events industry as a whole.
We welcome you to join!
